Each month, we select three groups who are doing excellent things in MTB in Australia. We've recently DOUBLED the amount of funds we put forward - so now each month, we put $1,200 on the table, and we ask our customers to vote to decide who gets the funds.
Each group gets at least $300, but the group with the highest votes at the end of the month scores $600!

Helensburgh Offroad Cycling Club (NSW)

Helensburgh Off Road Cycle Club (HORCC) Inc currently has 150+ financial members and was formed for the benefit of members who enjoy riding and racing their bicycles off road. When the club was created we had a focus not only on riding our bikes but also raising funds for charities and we have been involved in the Ride to Conquer Cancer benefiting the Chris O'Brien Lifehouse at RPA over the last four years and have raised approximately $170,000.00 for integrated cancer research/care.
We are currently under construction of our first legal MTB track in Helensburgh. Dollars For Dirt would help assist in the funding, design and building of a family-friendly track of approximately 3.0km in length.

We are a new MTB Club for kids, educating kids from age 4 upwards. We have 80 active kids and 12 coaches, and we teach kids how to enjoy MTBing in a safe and responsible way. We help our local trail care groups and hope to build our club membership over the coming months years as we have a waiting list of approx. 100 kids. We are a non-profit, manned entirely by volunteers.
We desperately need funds to help purchase materials to build obstacles. Beyond that, we are trying to get funds together to buy a trailer, a sunshade, and one day, we hope to have a van to take the kids whose parents are unable to transport them, to MTB events.
Anglesea Bike Park (VIC)

Anglesea Bike Park is a great little bike park maintained by a large group of volunteers of all ages. We have regular ride sessions and working bees with a really active bunch of people building and maintaining the park. The park is fairly unique in that its main feature is a 4X track but we also have in the same facility a Trials course, log rides, jump line and some mini XC tracks for kids. The main thing that makes it awesome apart from all the great features is the watching the 4X track and seeing how many people get a kick out of it from little shredders on balance bikes to Pros pulling big air!!!
As with any money we can raise throughout the year it goes to paying for Bobcat time on the track to build new features....most of the work we do is hand tools but having a Bobcat in for the day every now and then is a massive help.
