Awsome product ive never had a problem with mtb direct its all ways fast shipping and the product is spot on every time i dont buy from anywhere else.

Protect yo whip and look trick.

Ive added about 2kg worth of the ape graphic to my whip I reckon. Now she's certified & ready to go ape$#!+

- looks schmick when you get it right
- Can be removed and reused if you're not happy with placement.
- protects your pride and joy.
- honeycomb texture feels cool

- expensive
- not a huge amount of coverage in the pack
- stones seem to always just miss the pro and chip your paint anyway

Overall I'm stoked.

Great protection

Easy to apply and appears hard wearing.

Excellent protection - read review for installation tip

I have used this product on three bikes now. There is just enough product for danger areas on down tube underside and seat and chain stays, if placed well. I have used in conjunction with lighter weight vinyl protection for things like the top tube and cable rub areas. The product is impact/cut/abrasion resistant and is worth the money for the piece of mind. On my first two bikes I mainly applied to flatter areas and spent plenty of time getting the pieces to stick well. On my Specialized Kenevo many of the the tube profiles are quite rounded and I was hating on the stiff sheets failing to stick. Then I had an idea to use a heat gun......and it worked great. As well as softening the sheet which allows it to conform better, it also activated the glue so I got perfect, edge to edge adhesion. These new panels have been installed a month now and no movement whatsoever. It probably says to do this in the instructions or something, but I don't have time for that stuff. Don't be a doofus and bubble your paint or set your fancy carbon frame on fire. Would give five stars if there was a bit more stuff or it was a bit cheaper.

Best you can get out there, just expensive

This is definitely the best frame protector that can be easily applied and tough material. I mean $80 for sticky plastic is insane, probably costs them $.50 a pack. But in saying that, it does a bang up job protecting your frame, and nothing really out there compares to it. I think they might have updated the product, I have it on my specialized enduro and goes around the edges fine, been on there for 4 months now and no lifting. In all $80 or less on MTB Direct, to protect a 5k+ bike is a no brainer. *** HOT TIP *** DO NOT PUT IT ON YOUR FRAME IF PART OF THE DUCO IS DAMAGED. IT WILL PEEL YOUR DUCO RIGHT OFF IT YOU EVERY WANT TO REMOVE IT.
