Description

The OneUp Components V2.1 Dropper Post Actuator Kit minimises the space taken up by the bottom of the post and was originally conceived to allow riders to run early model V2 droppers in their Santa Cruz Megatower, Hightower V2, Bronson V3, Nomad V4, and the Juliana equivalents. It works great on any other bike too!

Note that all current model OneUp Components Dropper Posts now come with this actuator fitted out of the factory.

Who's this item for: Originally intended for owners of a modern Santa Cruz Bike. Specifically the Megatower, Hightower V2, Bronson V3, Nomad V4, and Juliana equivalents. This V2.1 Actuator allows you to run early model OneUp Components V2 droppers in your bike.

It's perfectly suited to any other bike if you have the original actuator and it's hitting stuff inside the seat tube and preventing you from getting the right seat height.

    Great in theory but perhaps I got one from the Friday arvo run?? What should have been a 2 min job turned into 20 when changing the actuator on my post.

    The clearance between the 2 threaded retaining pin holes was probably only a couple of thou closer on the 2.1 which meant that I had to very carefully put the threaded section of each pin into my drill and mill down the un-threaded portion on a nice sharp fine file ever so slightly before they would fit. Would have been nice to just unscrew to pins, swap part do up 2 pins !!

    Just posting a review to counter the previous reviewer.

    The v2.1 actuator I received installed fine, no issue with the retaining pins.

    Works great. Lets me run a 180mm v2 OneUp Dropper slammed in a medium 2017 Guerilla Gravity Megatrail.

    I imagine this will eventually be standard on all OneUp droppers. Much better than relying on movement of the outer cable housing.

    Giving 4 stars because the pivots should come greased.

    Easy-enough to sort out yourself though.
