Combined with breathable Ariaprene neoprene and a moisture-wicking back panel, these pads will provide outstanding ventilation considering the amount of protection they offer. The biggest feature is the D3O padding! D3O remains flexible in its normal state but hardens instantaneously when you impact an object. With an extra removable hardshell plate, these will give you amazing protection and comfort. If you're the type of rider that loves all-mountain riding, these are perfect for you. Great pads which protect well. Well ventilated for such solid pads. I used the measurement advice and initially bought a large which was too big. I got a refund from MTB direct which was easy and bought the mediums which fit great.
