Description

This is a direct replacement for OEM BSA threaded english bottom brackets for either straight 24mm Shimano (Raceface EXI and some FSA cranks) or stepped 22/24mm SRAM/Truvativ of some FSA Mega Exo cranks.

High quality aluminium cups coupled with legendary Enduro Bearings and silicone seals for fantastic performance in all conditions.

Bearings are completely replaceable, so this will be the last bottom bracket assembly you'll ever need to buy!

Installation:

  • 24mm and 24mm-22mm GXP requires a 16 notch 44mm external bottom bracket tool
  • 30mm requires a 16 notch 48.5mm external bottom bracket tool

Kit includes:

  • 2 x Cups with Enduro Bearings
  • 2 x Enduro Silicone dust seals
  • 1 x 2.5mm aluminium BB cup spacers for use with 68mm wide BB shell
  • 1 x 1.8mm aluminium BB cup spacers for use with 68mm wide BB shell
  • 1 x 0.7mm aluminium BB cup spacers for use with 68mm wide BB shell
  • 2 x 0.5mm crank spindle spacers
  • 2 x 1.0mm crank spindle spacers
  • 1 x Wave Washer (SRAM versions only)

Compatibility:

Frame: Fits into standard threaded bottom bracket shells. (can be called BSA or English)

Cranks:

  • If you have a straight 24mm spindle on your cranks choose the Shimano option. (also fits some FSA, Raceface and more)
  • If you have a stepped axle from 24mm down to 22mm, choose the SRAM GXP option. (also fits Truvativ and some FSA Mega Exo)
  • If you have a 30mm spindle crank choose the 30mm option. (fits Raceface, Hope, Cane Creek and more)
Bearing options:

Standard Bearings - These run Enduro ABEC 3 Sealed bearings. High precision balls are within 10/1,000,000" round. Races are hardened to R-62 and polished to a mirror finish with ABEC 3 certification for tolerance and noise.

AC Bearings - Angular Contact Bearings - Made by Enduro, these are specifically designed for Hub or BB applications. A standard radial bearing will typically only have 3 or 4 bearings making contact under load. While Angular Contact bearings ensure that all balls are engaged. This spreads the load over a larger surface area and decreases friction and minimises wear. The balls in AC bearings are withing 5/1,000,00" round. This is military specification. They also have Nylon and Graphite ball retainers that are virtually frictionless and the bearings are filled with Rheolube - a special synthetic grease formulated in the USA. LLB Dual lip groove seals on the bearings ensure they remain clean and working at their best. There is also an additional dual lipped seal on both sides on the outside of the bearing (not pictured) for ultimate protection.

    Great BB upgrade

Such a great upgrade to do away with that creaky BB and for the need to repeatedly keep replacing cheaper BBs every 3 months. Quiet, smooth, and reliable.

    Easy install

Nice and easy to install, so far so good. Can't really give it a rap yet as need to see how it's going after a year of dust and mud.

    Invisible Against Pedal Strikes

I'm a self-confessed jabronie but these bottom brackets have had my back for 5 years now (had one on my previous bike) they just live for abuse weather its a lazy hit with the pressure washer, or a pedal strike that registers on the seismic scale they just don't give up do your self a favour and get one.
