Description

The Martello is designed to perform on Enduro and DH courses all over the world.

Featuring the World Championship proven TNT bead and a 4C Graphene compound with a moto-inspired tread pattern for stability and durability, this tyre is built to go fast on a range of terrain while providing the fine-touch tactile feel that top racers expect.

Whether shredding rocks, roots, or mixed terrain, the Martello delivers!

Features:

  • Moto-block square knobs offer stability and durability
  • Progressive sipe-width pattern provides tactile grip at the knob surface, without sacrificing speed or grip

Tubeless Ready: Yes the Martello is tubeless ready

Casing Options:

  • Trail [Tubeless TNT]: Uses an additional 120 TPI Nylon protective layer and anti-pinch flat rubber inserts placed over the beads. This combination makes the Trail casing the go-to option for those who want to minimise the chance of puncturing at the bead level and tyre sidewall level. Trail uses tubeless-ready Aramid beads.
  • Enduro [Tubeless 2PLY]: The 2ply Enduro casing is the strongest and most robust casing from the Vittoria MTB line. It features a double-layered Nylon 120 TPI breaker covering the casing from bead to bead for increased puncture protection. The anti-pinch flat rubber inserts placed over the beads prevent damages at the bead and sidewall level. The Enduro casing is compatible with tubeless set-ups.

The Enduro tyres use a 4 compounds (4C) tread powered by Graphene: the best compound technologies from Vittoria.

Telepathic rubber for your ride.

by

Y'know how some tyres are just dead and the first thing you know about lost traction is with your face?

Not with these.
Vittoria have burned much dark magic to make a tyre with superb grip on darn near everything - marbles, roots, mud, rocks, loam - all get eaten by the Graphene majik. They feel like velcro, yet still manage to be lively and playful. Martellos also talk quite a lot so you know exactly what's under your bare feet ... er wheels.
Plus if these were any more polite about it, they'd be voiced by Paul Bettany "Sir, there's only 25% grip here, we're just going to gently slip sideways 18 inches to where there's 75% grip..."
Puncture resistance is equally impressive. I'm a seriously heavy dude and run these at a weeny 23/25psi. No flats yet. <3

The only downside is they're a bit porky. Knock 200g off and they'd be utterly unbeatable.
