Description

After a pair of riding shorts that you can wear all day long? The fit of the Skyline Shell shorts has always been the primary focus from TLD.  This short provides a flattering-athletic fit with maximum freedom of movement while you are on your bike.  The TLD Skyline Shell short toes the line for the perfect balance of comfort and performance.

Who's it for?  Females riders who ride multiple disciplines or styles of MTB.  These shorts would not be out of place racing a gravity enduro event or joining in on your local weekend ride.

Inseam Measurement? The inseam of these shorts ranges from 10" (size XS) to 11" (size XL).  At this length the shorts will fit at or just above knee height.

Liner Included?  No- the 'Shell" version of this short does not include a liner.

Materials?  The Skyline lineup took a huge leap forward in the material department.  With the entire lineup now using environmentally sustainable Bluesign® approved fabric and the shorts utilising Coolmax® fabric throughout their construction.  The technical side of the construction is:  87% nylon/13% Spandex® with warp & weft bi-stretch fabric.

Pockets?  Two easy to reach zipper pockets.  One located on the left hip and another on the right thigh. The zipper pocket closures are a nice touch that ensure you can keep your valuables' safe and secure.

Waist Closure System?  Two slim and flexible Velcro waist adjusters allow quick and easy on-the-go adjustments, while a single TLD low profile snap button with Velcro backing ensure the shorts stay closed.  The fly also utilises Velcro to keep out dust and debris.

Pros?  The Skyline Short has always been on the top of the list for comfort.  The recent change to construct the entire lineup from environmentally sustainable Bluesign® approved fabric will make your heart feel as comfortable as your body.  The fit and style of this short set the benchmark years ago.  The Skyline Short is a prime example of a well planned and executed product.

Cons?  Although this short is super comfortable and you will want to wear it on every ride- it is not durable enough for continuous DH or shuttle use.  Not really a con but, the sizing tends to run a bit small.  TLD recommends sizing up.

Please note: These shorts do not include a liner/chamois.

Good looks, great fit

by -

I love these shorts so much I bought a second pair! Good quality, great fit albeit the small is perfect for me and I usually wear an xsmall. So smaller in sizing than usual.
Nice fabric and plenty of movement for riding the more rugged enduro events. but still light enough to pedal uphill comfortably. Lots of pockets which is unusual in women's shorts.
