TLD Ruckus Shorts
The Ruckus line of clothing from TLD is their all-mountain do everything line. From long XC rides to bike park laps, the Ruckus line has you covered.
Who's it for: Aimed at the all mountain rider, but suitable for any rider from the XC die hard to the DH sender, the Ruckus is light enough yet tough enough for it all.
Inseam Measurement: Inseam for the Ruckus shorts is 13", so will sit around the knee if not a touch lower, virtually eliminating the dreaded 'gaper gap'.
Liner Included: The TLD AIR mesh liner with Premium TLD 6-hour rated chamois is included.
Materials: 2-way stretch, mesh panels at the rear allow for enhanced range of motion and positive airflow. Contoured waistband designed for all day comfort, with laser perforations for enhance ventilation. Zipper ventilation ports on the inner leg allow for even more airflow on super hot days.
Pockets: The Ruckus has two zipper pockets within easy reach at the upper sides as well as a super handy and well placed zippered phone pocket on the right thigh.
Waist Closure System: Double snap button closure and a zipper fly keeps the pants closed while the two hook and loop pull tab adjusters provide up to two inches of adjustment.
Pros: Superb quality and breathability. One of the best phone carrying solutions out there with the well placed zippered pocket on the right thigh. Your phone won't flap around when you're pedalling and is relatively safe in the event of a crash.
Cons: Inner thigh zippers may rub or get caught on your saddle if you're not careful, when they're open.

Improvement on a market leader.
This is my third pair of Ruckus shorts having purchased a pair in 2014 and 2017. These are however a giant improvement on an already great product. The waist area feels like it has the hold of a belt, it is that good. The liners are also an improvement with different material than previous and better padding and wicking. A great product
Yeah these are pretty good, the Velcro adjuster on the hip allow the ruckus to fit perfectly. I was worried the recommended fit was going to be a bit on the generous size but the sizing was spot on. The red looks awesome !!

Overall they are a comfortable pair of riding shorts, but for some reason they have put 2 hidden zippers in the crouch that can be opened for ventilation. This creates a weakness in the crouch stitching, the exact point that needs to be the strongest, & the stitching comes apart & I have had this on 2 pairs now & both exact same spot. For the price I would expect better from TLD.

Bought these when they were on sale for about $100, worth every penny. liner is thin but has so far stood up to some decent use, outer is really tough but very light, much lighter than my Moto's which make then perfect for Enduro or AM riding, if your running downhill I'd recommend the Moto's over these though as they have more padding
Great trail/all mountain short with

Great trail/all mountain short with nice styling and colours. Lightweight but durable. Pockets are just right for someone that likes just a few light essentials. Adjustable waist works well. Removable liner fit my thighs just right and has a nice chamois. Maybe a touch hot for NSW summer trails with plenty of pedalling though.
These are a decent lightweight

These are a decent lightweight pair of MTB shorts. Like most TLD gear they are well thought out and fit right when you are sitting on the bike seat especially when you are running a dropper. Good for warm weather riding.
