They do offer protection but

They do offer protection but it's certainly not up with what else is out there (they lack a CE rating). I'm 6'3 and got the mediums which were good for a rid and then every time the trail got rough they would fall down. I tried a small size and couldn't fit thfit m over my wrists. I contacted TLD for any suggestion to help keep them up but never received a response.

I like the forearm protection

I like the forearm protection these pads have and they are good in case you come too close to a tree. Tight fit getting on and off but stay put when riding.
