GX is way better than NX!

by

My bike came with a NX derailleur, broke it in a crash, so upgraded to GX, so much better, crisp and quiet changes, well worth the extra cash.

Shift it into the rubbish bin

These are rubbish. Cheaper to buy an XT rear mech & shifter when this POS finally explodes. Never encountered such a pedantic derailleur & the 'trail' of the cage is awkward & prone to catching on everything. An old gumtree stick on the trail buggered mine & it's really now a 10 speed unit with a sustained press on the shifter to get it up to 11th (46 tooth XT cog). More R&D required from SRAM. We know why Shimano do not release new stuff every year now!

Great Derailleur.

Working a treat,smooth as silk.

Hard xx1 on before, GX

by -

Hard xx1 on before, GX appears to be exactly the same, even the weight is very similar, I wouldn't be able to justify the cost of a xx1 after buying the GX....it does exactly the same thing at a little more than a third of the price.
