These are a must have item when using carbon cranks and they will protect the ends of your crank arms from damage. We use these boots with SRAM cranks and they have held up extremely well, doing an exceptional job at protecting the crank arms. No more grimacing when you bash your crank arms on rough trails!

These booties are suitable for Descendant Carbon and non-Eagle XX1 and X01 cranks. The Eagle carbon cranks have a different size and shape so see the link below for the ones that will fit.

To install, remove pedals and slip over the end of your crank arms.

Not a good fit for Descendant Alloy cranks.

by -

Reviewed for size advice. Not a great fit for Descendant alloy cranks, even though a few sizing guides say they should fit. Loose, and move around a fair bit even with the pedals installed. Nothing wrong with the boot, just no good for my cranks.

Great for SRAM crank arms

These fit the SRAM GX Crank arms perfectly - with the holes centred in the right place. Buy them before you scuff up your crank ends, or even if you've already scuffed them and just want to cover it up.

Crank arm boot sizing

No problems with product at all. Had them on for 4 rides now an no problems. Providing a review for size - bought these for 2021 GX Eagle lunar cranks. They are slightly too big but you wouldn't notice. Once the pedal is back in they aren't going anywhere and they don't move around.

A MUST have for every Rider..

by

I slip these onto new cranks prior to the first pedal stroke. I have found that the SRAM Crank Arm Boots protect the bottom of the crank arms from even the hardest of hits, a must have accessory for any rider..

Good product

Works great easy to install works on Shimano cranks also. Shame it didn’t come in colours

Easy to install and function

by -

Easy to install and function product. It seems to create less resistance when you accidently dig your cranks in at a Rocky Section.
