Awesome pedals super gripy. Solid platform for big feet

This is the 3rd set of these peddles I have bought, Put 1 on the trail bike, one on the DH bike and now for my latest ebike. The peddles are reliable and paired with a good set of flats you have grip for days.Actually feel more planted through the rough stuff on these than I did when I was running clipless peddles

Awesome pedals super grippy. Solid platform for big feet

These are the 2nd pair I have bought the first on my trail bike and the 2nd on the DH bike. They are a nice big platform and my 510's stick like glue to these. Made the transition from clips to flats with these and after a few rides I was riding with more confidence than being clipped in.
The red is a closer colour to pink than red but paired with a set of red grips and the bike looks good. The blue also look awesome and after 6 months of riding the still look near new condition

A stunning design for a trail or all-mountain pedal. These things look amazing on the bike, particularly if you choose a colour to match your bike. The build quality seems excellent, you can tell a lot of thought has gone into the design. The pedals are very light for their size and intended usage. The surface is very wide and grippy and i haven't had any slips at all using them. Most of the pins are fixed from behind which is a plus as if they received a solid strike they can still be removed without any bother. Only negative so far has been that the anodised colour seems a little sensitive to scratching, but the design of the pedal means that most of the areas most prone to receiving knocks out on the trail, are not painted.

I had been looking at these pedals for a long time, I shopped around everywhere and couldn't find a set I liked more. When I received them, via fast shipping as always from mtb direct, I was really happy with them. They're a very well made pedal with a low weight for their size. Nothing bad to say about them except that I hope the pins never come in contact with my shins, they're huge.

Beautiful pedals, almost too nice

Beautiful pedals, almost too nice to put on the bike. Nice sharp pins offer plenty of grip when paired with 5.10's. Be aware these pedals are wide, some obstacles will require precision movements or new line choices altogether if you're upgrading from clip-ins. As always dealing with MBD was pain free, fantastic customer service and shipping is always impressive.

Nice set of pedals with a wide platform and thin profile. Plenty grippy too. The only negative is that I prefer the feel of pedals with a concave platform, but that's asking a lot for such a thin design.
