Description

The Shimano WH-MT501 is a trail-ready rim that won't break the bank. Featuring a Microspline freehub body it's all ready for Shimano 12 speed goodness.

Who's this item for: Anyone after an entry-level complete wheel wanting to run a Shimano 12 speed system. Great for light trail use.


Hub:

Spoke holes:  24 spokes

Convertibility: Not convertible between sizes.

Bearings: Cup and cone bearings with contact and labyrinth seals.

Brakes: Centrelock rotors only!

Freehub: Microspline. For use with Shimano 12 speed systems only.


Rims:

Tubeless:  Not with the included rim strips, but yes with tubeless tape.

Dimensions:  
  • Depth: 21mm.
  • Internal rim width: 24mm. 
  • External Rim width: 29.6mm.
Tyres:  Perfect for 2.0" to 2.4" tyres.

Joining:  Pin jointed rims walls.

Material:  Aluminium.

Spoke count:  24 spokes

Lacing:  2 cross lacing.

Materials:  Stainless steel spokes, with brass nipples.

Hub mount:  J-bend style
