Description

Get a better riding experience with the the Shimano SLX CN-M7100 12 Speed Chain. It offers increased chain retention thanks to an extended inner plate and has better durability and smoother performance thanks to the SIL-TEC treatment. With Hyperglide Plus technology it will work perfectly with Shimano's Narrow-Wide SLX chain rings. Oh, and with a SM-CN910-12 quick-link included, its also super easy to install.

Weight: It weighs approximately 252gm.

Materials / construction: This is a steel chain with Shimano's SIL-TEC coating for smoother shifting, better durability, and quieter pedaling.

Other component compatibility: It should work on all 12 speed systems.

Pros: Get Shimano's crisp 12 speed performance at an excellent price point.

Cons: It doesn't have the Chromized roller link plates of the XT chain.

    Does the job

    Corrodes (surface rust) a little faster than the XT. But not as much as the Deore. Great performance for the price.

    Good chain

    Not much to say about the SLX chain because its just good i fitted it to a Winners cassette and it shifts very nicely.

    Saved my butt

    I broke my chain days out from Christmas and had a group ride booked for just after new years and needed a new chain quick so I could make the ride.
