Does it's job without costing a fortune

Used one of these to convert the front brake on my Roscoe from 180mm to 203mm, works great and no complaints, I like resin pads and these are resin pad only I think, suits me fine, it gave me the extra stopping power I wanted still using the stock Deore 2 piston caliper without being over the top, still have good modulation.

Do you really need to spend anymore?

Great product and the right price. My other bike has hs2 sram rotors and I can’t tell the difference!

Great if you’re after cl, worth the spend.

    Quality build, noticeable difference

Replace worn 160mm to one of these 180mm, great build quality and definitely noticed a difference in bite.

    Great Shimano Product

The nice thing about shimano is they seem to have a product at every price poimt. These rotors sit somewhere in the mid to lower range. They are perfect for trail or XC riding. If you are more adult in size and hitting the steeps then it's worth going up a level for better heat resistance and less brake fade. If you do get these very hot on a long descent they can sometimes warp a little and start to contact the pads and make a bit of noise, but when they cool down they straighten back to perfectly flat.

    Great brake rotors

These were a very welcome upgrade to my bike. Upgraded from 180mm to 203mm, front and back and have been loving the performance benefits so far. Being a bigger dude, these give much more braking power and efficiency.
