Description

The same outstanding design and features as the Transition knee pad chosen by many of the top teams racing the Enduro World Series, just in a youth-sized package.

The pads feature a slip-on design with a compression fit and a Sas-Tec protective foam insert that moulds to the shape of your knees for a perfect fit. The top hem extends higher up the thigh than most knee pads and uses an internal silicone strip to keep them from slipping down. The breathable mesh back panel helps keep you cool, and the design of the pads allows for complete freedom of movement without any friction or discomfort. These are truly a fit and forget piece of kit and once you (carefully!) pull them on you'll almost forget you're wearing them.

Who's this item for: These pads are perfect for Trail riding and Enduro racing. The lightweight design is very pedal friendly but can also be relied upon to protect your knees and stay in place during those inevitable crashes.

Protection Style: The protective pad is made from a dense heat moulding foam that will conform to the shape of the knee for a perfect fit without any pressure points or rubbing.

Materials: Polyester and Spandex blend with 4-way stretch mesh panels.

Closure or Slip-on: These are slip-on pads with a compression fit. It's critical to get the sizing right with these so you might need to try on a couple of different sizes to find the perfect fit.

Length of knee pad: The upper elastic hem sits fairly high up on the thigh to help hold them in place. The lower elastic hem extends midway down the shin.

Protection level: These pads offer light to moderate protection and exceed the CE EN 1621-1:2012 Level 2 standards.

Removable protective inserts for washing: No, the insert is not removable in the Transition pads.

Pros: Super comfy and lightweight, pedal all day pads that can be relied upon to stay in place when you crash.

Cons: These pads rely upon a close compression fit to work properly, and there aren't any straps to make small adjustments. It's critical to get the sizing right with these so you might need to try on a couple of different sizes to find the perfect fit.

Note: Please take care to not pull the knee pads up your leg from the top of the pads as you would a pair of socks. The material is not designed for this and may cause tears. Damage to the knee pads of this nature may not be covered by the manufacturer warranty. We recommend pulling up knee pads from the top and bottom of the pad with care, in a way that avoids stretching the mesh or damaging the stitching.

    Amazing

I took them for my first ride and fell in love with them. They look sick! and they feel amazing. They give plenty of protection for crashing and they feel so good pedaling and uphill climbs.
