Description

With optimised material concentrated at the brace and seal area, outstanding stiffness and steering precision, The RockShox Recon Silver is an all-around performer suited for any MTB.

Note: While the product images show a Maxle Stealth axle (ie. bolt up), the axle on the fork you receive will depend on which option is displayed below under 'Fork Axle Type'.

Forks listed with the Steerer Type 1 1-8th Inch have a straight steerer

  • Motion Control damping featuring Low-Speed Compression adjustment to lockout
  • Fast Black finished 32mm steel upper tubes match significant stiffness with a premium look
  • 15x110mm versions fit tyres up to 2.8" without fenders - use of a full fender will reduce tyre clearance

    Rockshock Recon

    This was a replacement fork for a hardtail which was let down by it's budget coil spring fork. With this fork I'm now able to go in much harder to the point the rest of the bike reaches it limits .I did have to run it at a higher pressure but still below maximum . Great fork

    Great value

    I replaced my dirt jumper's RST Dirt coil fork with this - so much lighter and so much smoother. It's obviously not equivalent to forks 4x the price, but for the money and application it's fantastic. Wouldn't hesitate to use similar on a budget trail mtb in future.
