Description

These Elbow Guards are for hard-charging XC and Trail riders that want a little bit of extra protection to guard against abrasions without constricting movement or sacrificing comfort. The light Butterfly mesh sleeve provides a breathable secure fit and a thin stretch foam pad will help to keep the skin on your elbows if you have a fall.

This pad is NOT rated for impacts. It is recommended for abrasion resistance protection only.

Who's this item for: XC and Trail riders that are sick of skinning their elbows and would like an extra layer of protection.

Protection Style: A thin stretch foam pad provides extra protection against abrasions but won't do much to protect against impacts.

Materials: Butterfly mesh sleeve, abrasion-resistant foam elbow cover, silicone bicep gripper.

Closure or Slip-on: The Charge is a light slip-on style elbow pad.

Length of elbow pad: The exact length isn't stated but they will extend up onto the bicep and will finish just below the elbow. If you were wearing a 3⁄4 sleeve jersey nobody would notice the pads.

Protection level: Abrasion resistance only. These pads are not rated for impact protection.

Removable protective inserts for washing: No, the foam pads are not removable.

Pros: Light and comfortable so you won't have to fuss with them when you're riding. Cool enough for warm weather but will also provide some warmth on those cold days.

Cons: Almost zero impact protection. These are essentially an arm warmer with some abrasion-resistant qualities.
