Please make sure to check this first and do so with the post fully extended. Proper air pressure is 280-300psi at full extension. The valve is located under the top clamp.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eIf you are still having slow top out then there is a possibility that the upper white bushing needs replacement. This will be evident by the original bushing being difficult to reinstall after being removed. This kit will give you everything you need to get your post feeling schmick again.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cb\u003eUpper Bushing Replacement\u003c\/b\u003e:\u003cbr\u003eTo replace the upper bushing follow the steps for greasing (see vid below) and when exposed simply spread the gap by hand and slide it off the upper tube. Once off, put the post in a mid dropped position and install the new upper bushing. The new upper bushing should be easier to reinstall. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cb\u003eBrass Key\/Lower Bushing Replacement\u003c\/b\u003e:\u003cbr\u003eThe brass keys were put in this kit as a precaution in case OneUp determined that they are a high wear item. To date, they have found no measurable wear on these pieces. As such, OneUp has not had cause to recommend replacing them yet.\u003cbr\u003e \u003cbr\u003e\u003cb\u003eWarning\u003c\/b\u003e - replacing the brass keys without proper tools may cause more damage than good and will have no effect of top out. You can probably leave them alone unless they're showing signs of corrosion and you want to get some freshies in there.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eIf you do have the proper equipment and expertise to replace these parts the process is as follows:\u003cbr\u003e\u003col\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eDisassemble the post using steps 1-5 of dropper-service-instructions (see link to this below)\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eWipe the area to remove the grease.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eCarefully clamp the old key with a pair of vice grip pliers (this will damage the key so note that the old key can not be reinstalled) and pull out.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eRemove the lower bushing \u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eSlide the mid-cap off and replace the seal\/spring\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eGrease the mid-cap\/new seal and reinstall\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eInstall the new lower bushing\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eNext, install the new lower keys. Note that the new keys have a flat side and a slightly rounded side.
