Sintered/Metallic: Pros

  • Less fade at higher temperatures.
  • Perform better in wet conditions.
  • Longer lasting.
  • Better for heavier riders and sustained braking.

Cons

  • Reduced initial bite (compared to resin)
  • Tend to be a bit noisier

Resin/Organic:
Pros

  • Quiet.
  • Better initial bite.

Cons

  • Tend to wear out faster.
  • Reduced performance in wet conditions.

    Simply the best for Code RSC

    I’ve tried so many brands of pads in my Code RSCs and nothing comes close to these for power and durability. You may think you’re saving money with cheaper brands but in the long run these outlast and outperform others.

    SRAM avid code steel sintered disc brake pads

    SRAM avid code steel sintered disc brake pads do the job.

    Ive got over 1000km on these pads on a rail 9 with still more meat on them. Purchased these for when it is time to replace.
