The best tyre sealant for road tubeless

by -

After two years of running tubeless clincher road tyres and having used several brands of tyre sealant I have no hesitation in recommending Orange Seal Endurance Tyre Sealant. While almost any sealant will work well at mountain bike tyre pressures the ability to seal a hole in a road tyre at higher pressures requires a more modern sealant. Simple latex based sealants have failed me but the crystals in the Orange Sealant work really well for quickly sealing a puncture.

Can't say I'm overly impressed

Can't say I'm overly impressed with this sealant. The first ride on it and 50m into my ride; I cut the sidewall on a granite rock and slice a 3-4mm hole in it. Normally using Stan's this would seal and I can ride on. It failed to seal; I had to put in a tube in to complete my ride. If it fails to seal again; then I'll go back to Stan's.

Orange sealant

Great product at a good price, holding up as well as any other sealant I've used in the past

Best sealant for road tubeless clinchers

by -

I've tried several different sealants for my three bikes and four wheelsets that I have set up with tubeless clinchers. So far this has been the best sealant for quickly sealing punctures. Stans is great for mountain bike tyres but it let me down during a race a few months ago. Orange Sealant has never failed to seal for me.
