Description

The Northwave Escape Evo shoes are for the true all-rounder, ideal for cycling and hiking and with their low weight and comfortable design you won't do without them again. Featuring a crossroad sole with calibrated stiffness and a reinforced heel, they are comfortable to walk and to ride. The sole also contains a removable panel, beneath which you can attach compatible cleats. This allows you to alter your shoes at a later date, converting them to a dedicated cycle shoe.

The use of full lace fastening and a hook and loop strap affords ease of use and a very secure fit. The breathable fabric upper is ventilated to ensure you remain comfortable at all times.

Features:

  • Damp-Lite sole: a lightweight all-rounder with natural rubber tread for enhanced grip
  • Lightweight construction with extra reinforcements
  • Laces plus an over-strap
  • Reinforced heel for added protection

Great entry level shoe for commuting, touring or mtb

by

Bought a second pair of these shoes as eventual replacement for current ones. I find them really comfortable with enough stiffness to keep my plantar fasciitis under control but remain comfortable to walk in for long stints. Toe box is roomy enough for neoprene toe covers comfortably and cooler in summer too. Laces work really well and don't slip or stretch as I've found with others.
