Airflex Knee Pads

by

Well made, very comfortable, very flexible, great ventilation and look great. However, The sizing is way off. I measure up to be a midrange XL and chose an XL as per size chart suggestion. I should've chosen a L and unfortunately no more stock in smaller sizes to exchange. Very expensive in comparison to other pads.

Sizing table is solid BUT still only a guide

So I'm a trail rider on a 130mm Cannondale Habit and these knee pads are perfect for riding in the hotter weather and my personal riding style.

Main reason I wrote this review is to provide some of the bigger girls and guys guidance on the sizing. I bought the large despite the table suggesting I should be an XL and it fits me perfectly. No sliding, and doesn't choke my legs.

I'm 176cm, 86kg, 34waist. Off the sizing chart I'm 52cm upper and 41cm lower but find the large still OK for me (your mileage may vary).

So if you're still a bit chubby but have aims of burning off the Christmas cheer or using MTB to get into shape. Perhaps one size down from the table may fit you in the long run even if they start off the tiniest bit tight.

Very light and comfortable perfect

Very light and comfortable perfect for long rides. Padding around as well as on the knee works for me I've had a couple of small crashes and they've done their job without showing any signs of damage.

Overall a superior quality product, great flexibility and range of motion. Can go on longer rides and not even notice them after many hours. These have already been tested saving my old man knees in both impact crashes and slide outs thanks to the air flex pad and side protection.
