Description

The X10-EL (Extra Light) sits in the middle of KMC's range. The inner and outer links on the X10EL are also hollowed out to shave some grams and also aid in shedding mud.

The outer plates feature KMC's Double X Bridge shape and chamfered internally and externally for a brilliantly quick shift. The rivets that hold the chain together have a mushroomed head for additional strength. This is a non directional chain so you don't have to worry about which way to put it on and it comes with a MissingLink.

Who's this item for: Any rider after a lightweight 10 speed chain.

Number of gears: This is for a 10 speed system.

Weight: This is a lightweight chain, weighing only 262gm.

Materials / construction: This chain comes in two options, either a fully nickel plated chain that gives it a shiny silver appearance or with a Titanium Nitrate Gold coating. Both options offer superior corrosion resistance.

Other component compatibility: Compatible with all 10 speed systems.

Pros: It's extremely durable and lightweight. The hollowed plates shed mud more easily for smoother shifting in the rough stuff. Best of all, you can bling out your bike with the Gold Version.

Cons: 10 Speed only.
