Joe's Tubeless Rim Strips are specifically designed to secure tyres and prevent loss of air. Each kit uses Presta valves with removable cores and offered in different widths.

    Quick and Easy

    A new wheel build, did everything I should have, rim tape, tubless valves. No Way could I get them the tyres to seat, soapy water service station compressor nothing worked. I have used these rim stris on my other set of 11 year old wheels and they worked perfectly. Installed a set on these to the new build, soapy water and a floor pump and was welcomed by the satisfying pop od the tyre seating. If you are doing a wheel build do not hesitate, get them!

    Tubeless setup made easy!

    Trying to get the standard rims which came with my Giant Trance 27.5 converted to tubeless was a headache. I was getting too many burpies and was forced to go back to tubes. Then I tried these rim strips with a brand new set of tubeless ready tyres (Maxxis Minion DHF and DHR 2). Tyres locked onto the beads 1st go and the sealant works with the rim strip to help 'seal' the tyre. I've done a couple of test runs through the place at Lysterfield where I had come up with pinch flats more than once....... no problems at all. Easy as setup. Remove old rim tape and fit the strip. No need for a seperate valve either.

    at this price, why bother

    at this price, why bother with messy tape and expensive stem. The rim strip works so much better than tape, giving things a good seal. I used them on the stock giant p-xc2 rim, whcih is known to not convert tubeless well. Mine worked first time with 2.3 high roller TR. Never leaked air or burped. Good value.
