They aren't as grippy as OneUp's Composite Pedals but I snapped them after hitting a rock.
I replaced the pins for 5 bucks at bolt shop and now I love them.

Absolutely love Jet Black products price versus quality cater for just about every MTB enthusiast.. The super light pedal is no exception extremely well designed and executes it's purpose faultlessly. I have no doubt there is many excellent flat pedals on the market but for value versus quality the Jet Black super light range is an industry benchmark .

I use Jet black pedals on my XC and full mountain bikes. They are light and reliable and last forever with minimal maintainance. The anodizing is bullet proof, the color does not wear off like a lot of other Pedals.

great pedals, first time i have not used clipless pedals and found them to be super grippy, almost as connected as clipless but felt more confident in the technical stuff knowing it was easier to get a foot out

This is my fourth set of JetBlack pedals ( on four different bikes) they are low profile, lightweight and never slip. I cannot think of a negative for these pedals.
