      After waaaay too much online research

      After talking to friends, checking every passing car, hours online, I pulled the trigger on this because: (1) It's cheaper than almost all the others (2) It's really easy to set up and instal on the car (3) it's super easy to use and (4) my shorter, less strong wife can load the bikes on and off. Obviously (4) was the most important so it gets 5 stars from me. Ps - the bungee system is awesome, although looks weak. I will put some foam blocks in between bikes for long journeys.

      Easy rack

      Very easy way to transport a few bikes. Gets quite crowded on there with 4 but it is manageable.

      With one bike on there the bike swings backwards and forward quite a bit. Saying that, there doesnt seem like any chance it would fall off even off one of the bungies snapped and its never swung far enough to hit the car. With two or more bikes its easy to strap them together to eliminate any sway.

      With all the swaying of a single bike there will likely be some paint damage over time if not protected.

      Great rack!

      I recently purchased this rack from the great people at MTB Direct.

      I wanted a rack that was simple, easy to fit to my dual cab and easy to load my e-mtb onto.

      It fits the bill perfectly: takes about one minute to fit and the bungees used to secure the bike are a brilliantly simple and effective piece of kit and accepts any bike no problem.

      The dual folding pivot points are a great feature: even with a relatively heavy e-mtb the rack pivots to allow the tailgate to be opened easily.

      I highly recommend this bike rack.

      And, of course I got it at the best price in Aust from the MTB Direct team 

      The Jet Rack

      I have had this for a few weekends now and it's excellent. So easy to install and put away, the bikes fit on easy and the bungy system is super simple.
