Shorten those pins for a better experience.

Great pedals all around. However the pin heights are a bit excessive. Easy fix though.. Just go buy yourself a 50pack of 5/40X1/4 Socket Cap Screws for around $5 and replace all exterior pins (screws). Leave the four in the center though since they are perfect height already. Result is a perfect pin height with plenty of grip.

Like everyone else these pedals scream premium! What is there not to love about them, they look great and the grip you get from them when accompanied by a pair of Five Tens is amazing, the only way you can reposition your foot is by lifting it off the pedal and replacing down again. So why the one star? After only 8 months of use the right pedal started to squeak so I thought OK time for a service and purchased a rebuild kit, taking the right pedal apart I found the internals had disintegrate causing damage to the spindle and causing fragments to be lodged within the body of the pedal. I tried to claim under warranty which MBD were amazing excellent communication the whole time, but the supplier would not replace. So, if you hear any noise from your pedals or get any movement which I did not notice, take a closer look before you are out of pocket by $200. Only when you see the size of the parts within the rebuild kit that you know it's only a matter of time before a rebuild is needed.

The box these pedals came in screamed premium. Decals and more than a dozen extra bolts were included. The pedals feel very lightweight while maintaining a high level of construction and durability. Being wide flat pedals with long screws they do a really good job gripping on to your shoes while you pedal even in wet conditions. They are expensive but you get what you pay for.
