Description

The Fox Defend Kevlar shorts are as about as tough as MTB shorts get. They feature Kevlar panels with a stretchy and durable polyblend fabric. Combined these shorts make the climbs comfortable and the descents filled with confidence. They also have a durable water resistant finish which sheds water, mud and dirt as well as laser perforated sections up front and back to keep that airflow coming. These are one of the most burly yet comfortable MTB shorts on the market.

Who's this item for?: Perfect for aggressive Enduro and DH Riders looking for a high level short that is cut below the knees.

Inseam Measurement: The Fox Defender Kevlar use a 14.5 inch inseam which will have the shorts cut below the knees for most people.

Liner Included: There is no liner in the Defend Kevlar shorts.

Materials: Made from a TruMotion all-way stretch fabric for increased mobility as well as Kevlar fibre panels. Body: 93% polyester / 7% spandex Panel: 75% nylon / 10% spandex / 9% Kevlar / 6% polyester stretch Kevlar

Pockets Position and Quantity: The Defend Kevlar shorts have 3 zippered front hand pockets

Waist Closure System / Fly / Size Adjusters: A ratchet closure provides a secure fit & quick on-the-fly adjustments

Pros: These are about as tough as shorts get. Not only that, they are comfortable enough to wear all day on the trails. Kevlar panels offer exceptional durability.

Cons: The extra protection and durability of the Kevlar panels does come at an extra cost.

Great shorts, but size up!

by

Great shorts, love the kevlar panels, gives the shorts a unique look & obvioslu they'll be bomb proof. I'm normally a 32-33" waist & the mediums are too snug (I could probably get away with them on the lowest (loosest) waist ratchet setting, but they're a bit snug in the crotch / around the bum anyway). Got the large, i'm on the last ratchet on these (snuggest), but appreciate the room. A size 33" waist would have been perfect, but alas. I find most Fox apparel on the small size for where they should be, tops & bottoms.
