Great for wider/high volume feet

by

These are slightly wider than the freeriders and way lighter...also a more roomy toe box. Good if you have a higher instep too like me. Don't notice these being any warmer than my freerider canvas 5.10s (have worn both in 30 degree heat) but these have a super fast dry time in the wet in comparison.
Good choice if you a riding between downhill and aggressive trail riding.

Light, comfortable and very sticky.

by

These are my 4th pair of 5 10 shoes and i would rate them as the best bike shoe I have owned. They are light, comfortable and have a great cushioning for walking and hard landings. Comparing them to the other Impact shoes I have owned they are lighter than the Impact 2 and a lot more comfortable than the over padded impact 3. They have reinforcing at the toe and heel, great arch support. The stealth Mi 6 sole is super sticky. The only con is they dont breathe well, so they feel hot and get sweaty.

Execute there purpose to a tee

Not going to win a fashion parade. However very comfortable solid shoe. Great platform for pedaling. Definitely recommend.

Comfortable light and sticky

by

These are my fifth pair of Five Ten shoes. They are a great fit and super sticky, These shoes are comfortable to walk in when you have to push the beast or "hike a bike" up a hill. As comfortable as my low impact 2s but a lot lighter. A much better fit than the impact 3s, the thicker padding in the Impact 3 made them feel too small, A lot more robust than the Danny Mamacaskills. My only complaint is that they dont breathe very well which makes them hot.

Purchased to replace a trusty

Purchased to replace a trusty pair of Impacts. Have transitioned from DH to trail riding but I will never go SPD. First thing I noticed is the drop in weight from the old pair of Impacts, which was a suprise. Great looking product, innersole has quite a high arch and I don't remember this being an issue in an earlier pair of Impacts but I am sure it will flatten down a bit. The shoe is pretty much waterproof, great for all weather, but has no ventilation. Hot feet may be an issue in summer. Comes with two pairs of laces (blue and black) so you can look like and ride like Sam Hill with this product.

Very well made and comfortable

Very well made and comfortable shoes. They look like they'd take a beating! Simple black colour-way doesn't look as gaudy as some other mtb shoes. I thought I'd try these after years of reading how good they are, and while I agree they are a fine product, I just couldn't feel confident going from clip-less pedals to flats. I would highly recommend them to a flat-pedal rider or even someone who is curious like I was. The price doesn't break the bank for such a quality product.
