Five Ten Freerider Contact Shoes
The perfect shoe for long all-day epics. The Five Ten Freerider Contact combines lightweight, protection and unbelievable grip to make these the first choice for flat-pedal trail riders.
Five Ten has long been known for their Impact model, but anyone who has worn them on trail rides knows exactly how hot and bulky they can be. FiveTen solved all these issues with their Contact model. Featuring a low profile design, these shoes are extremely comfortable to pedal in. They have also included a reinforced toe-cup to protect you from hidden rocks and stumps. Another great feature about the Contact shoe is the innovative tread pattern. The contact point is treadless which allows to you easily reposition your foot, but still offers the unbelievable grip you would expect.
These shoes are perfect for trail riders. While they excel on trail rides, they are also great for some downhill use. Riders who spend more time on their downhill bikes may want to consider the Five Ten Impact shoe.

These are mint!!
After running the 5 10 impact pro these are much lighter and give a lot better feel to the pedal. Very light, look good and grip is no problem. Would definitely buy again.
First pair of mtb specific shoes and am very impressed. Feel like clipless the way they stick to my Stamps. Very solid feeling for how light they are.
Shoe is awesome, strong light

Shoe is awesome, strong light and comfortable. Amazing grip and stiff sole really translates your peddling into power at the cranks. The plastic cap protection has already saved my toes in a decent strike at speed, shoe looks perfect and my toes are all good. My only issue with the shoe is I found sizing to be slightly off as I am a US 11 in every shoe I own and I had to return two pairs until I found a good fit which was the US 12 size, but your mileage may vary.
Very, very good.But not perfect.

The Good: Super grippy. Very comfortable and light weight. Breath well in summer. Look good. Just the right amount of stiffness and flex in the sole. True to size. The Bad: The sole wears out and de-laminates from the shoe way to quickly. I probably got a good 6 months out of them with an average of 3 days a week riding before the sole started falling apart. Plus there exspensive. But even in saying that, I'll still probably buy another pair. So if you want a super grippy and comfortable flat pedal shoe they are great. Just dont expect them to last long. I guess if you only ride once a week or every so often it should be fine but if you use them alot be prepared to buy a new pair soon.

Amazing shoe!! Well these are my first 5tens ive always used skateshoes and i found these sooo much better. Grip is actually really good I forked out for these mainly for the toe protection and man have they already payed for themselves! Toe protection is the best! I went by previous peoples review and found sizing was one size up from my usual usa size. So thanks you for the review! Very happy with shoes been on 5 rides now and they still great I
First pair of five tens

First pair of five tens and first pair of mtb shoes.. Was concerned w smooth patch but after two rides in very wet muddy conditions there is no problem there at all.. Sticky soles lead to a sticky grin!! Sizing is true and good for me compared to some comments I have read.. Super stoked I made the purchase !
