ESI grips changed the grip market when they burst onto the scene a few years back with their unique silicone compound.

The Silicone compound is grippy regardless of whether it is wet or dry. It's UV resistant, so it'll never become sticky, harden or fade like some rubber grips can. The silicone material is extremely absorbent which reduces hand fatigue and arm pump.

While these aren't a lock on grip the silicone compound adheres to bar remarkably well. You'll never have these grips "throttle".

You can wash these grips as well.

For installation, simply rub the bar / grip with window cleaner or rubbing alcohol and slide on, then leave to dry for 24 hours. Cuttable with a sharp pair of scissors or a utility knife.

Proven worldwide for all riders including Olympians!

If you're running grip shift, Chunky's 32mm diameter is the perfect diameter to match up with your shifter.

The XXL length is 8.25" long (210mm) which makes them perfect for the Jones Loop Bars.

Hard to install, but maybe worth it

by

A bit of a bugger to get on. You *must* watch the install video on the esigrips.com website to give yourself a fighting chance. The towel, the isopropyl alcohol and your body position are essential!

To be fair, I've had a bunch of grips move around on me after installing them, so it might actually be a good thing that these grips are really hard to install as it probably means they wont move around like the others.

I'll report back on whether that theory turns out to be true or not.

ESI Chunky Grips

Loving these grips immensely! Had some trouble getting them on (maybe I wasn't doing it correctly) however once installed they don't move at all. My hands don't get sore as quickly anymore and feel comfortable when not wearing gloves.

Extra Chunky all the way.

Extra Chunky all the way. Best grips ever, I have used the chunky grips and they are great, but the Extra Chunky is a whole new level of comfort for only 80 grams. and they last a life time. (my last pair of chunky's took 2 1/2 years to wear out).

This is my third set

This is my third set of ESI grips and as usual are a quality item. They offer a reasonable level of comfort and absorb a lot of impact. Grip remains tacky even when yet. Highly recommended grips.

After using lock-ons, I thought

After using lock-ons, I thought i would try these. They have a reasonable diameter and feel really good. Just the right density, not too soft and grip well whether using bare hands or gloves.

Awesome grips!

I've been a long time fan of ESI grips. I moved away for awhile and tried some others but have found myself back with ESI again. Just more comfortable than anything else out there.
