One of the main causes for premature bearing wear is incorrect installation. This tool is designed to press your BB in squarely without the damaging side loads as well as changing the bearings in the cups. Not only will this prevent damage to your BB, it will also prevent potential damage to your frame!

Is a great tool however,

Is a great tool however, when replacing SRAM BB, one side is 24mm and the other 22mm. This tool should come with 22mm socket tool so you can push that side out. Had to use a drift to remove 22mm side - disappointing as I bought so I didn't have to use any kind of force (banging) re removal.
