Heaps of grip and heaps of negatives. Better options exist!

by

Tyres came OEM on my Norco Sight had them on for nearly a year. swapping out the Race for the Plus on the front using the semi slick E13 on rear.
These are the grippiest tyres made Period.
But you’ll sacrifice everything else for grip!
If that suits you this is your tyre.
They dont roll anywhere near as well as Magic Mary or DHF.
As they wore/aged they rolled slower and slower until i was pedalling my ass off to keep up with riders rolling.
So slow! Pedaling uphill became a even more a chore.
I would also say these dont work well on 30mm or larger internal rims either.
The profile of the tyre was very flat even on the E13 rims they were made to suit.
I experienced a knifing sensation turning on steeper lean angles In loose conditions it was great for grip!
The flat profile makes your bike feel planted yes but negatively unplayful and un-agile and sluggish.
But the grip was always there and so much of it!
Before i replaced em i even tore/ripped some side knobbys off.

One word......AWESOME Seriously just buy one
