The new and improved All Terrain G3 Enduro Tyre hooks up superbly in steep and loose terrain, but still rolls surprisingly well. Directional siping on all knobs allow them to spread and gain more traction under braking and in the wet. Accordion cuts on the side knobs provide plenty of grip and support in hard cornering, while allowing the knobs to conform to the ground without the squirming feeling that you can get from long knobs.
The big change this time is the casing options; Apex and Aramid. Apex offers excellent slash protection at the bead and sidewall. They also allow the tread to better conform to uneven terrain, resulting in more grip and lower rolling resistance in most conditions. Aramid woven reinforcement on Race models better protects against punctures, and increases air retention.
Both the Plus and the Race use a slow-rebound, tacky compound, but the Race is even grippier in the side knobs however it is at the cost of longevity. MoPo is an ultra-tacky, low-rebound rubber for better tread wear and faster rolling.
The Enduro G3 is great up front, or as a rear tyre. We suggest the Race on the front for more grip, and a Plus on the rear for longer life.
Who's it for: The All Terrain G3 Enduro tyre is aimed at aggressive All Mountain riding and Enduro racing.
Suggested terrain: Hardpack, loose over hard, medium, and deep loose soil. The only place this tyre may suffer is in deep mud.
Pros: Amazing support and grip up front, without sacrificing speed loss. Improved casing. Excellent braking performance.
Cons: Not the fastest option as a rear tyre.
