Best fork I’ve ridden

This fork is AMAZING. I use it on my Norco torrent 1 hardtail and it’s unbelievable. The most tuneable fork on the market and in my opinion the best. If you’re sick of spending too much on bad forks, give the DVO diamond a go.

DVO Diamond

I was initially looking for a Pike for my Intense Spider 29C to replace the woefully inadequate Fox 32's, but I saw these come up at MDBDirect for a cracking price. After a couple of hours research online I took the plunge with a relatively new brand in suspension and couldn't be happier. I've got Pikes and Lyric's on my other bikes but I prefer the DVO's damping settings because they offer more mid stroke support than the Pike/Lyric which I find ramp up too much at the end of the stroke. The DVO's are nicely made with excellent fit and finish, controls are easy to access and use. The 'off the top' adjustment is a bit fiddly and needs a 5mm allen key, but once set you never touch it. Although a bit heavy at just over 2000g the DVO Diamond has added an enormous amount of front end stability to my bike which is worth the small weight penalty in my view. Excellent product, will seriously consider another DVO fork or shock for my next purchase.

These forks are outstanding. They are not the lightest but the performance removes any lingering thought about weight once you get out of the car park. Easy to set up and the adjustments make noticeable change to the ride. The quality is first rate. DVO's website has plenty of information about servicing and tuning so you can set-and-forget, or play with the settings constantly too. If you are looking for a new fork then these should be on your short list. If not in your basket ;)
