Cheap, works quite well!

Up until this weekend, i had only used the tailgate pad to secure my bike in my ute. Securing the pad to the ute was simple, fits my hilux fine. The single velcro strap used to secure each individual bike to the pad works well, no issues there.

This weekend a few of the lads and I hit the local DH trails up, so was a good chance to load all the bikes into my ute and test the pad at its max capacity. Once again, no issues in loading or securing bikes. My only complaint was the lack of fitting instructions even through the dert website, but if you have even half a brain its not a big issue to figure out. Padding is nice and thick, and car side is nice and soft to avoid car damage. Just be sure to wash the car for avoid getting any dirt trapped under the pad when fitting.

Good quality. Cheap. Makes it nice and easy to carry bikes. 👌 Would of given 5 stars but it wouldn't let me select the 5th

Fits a Navara NP300 tailgate.

Dert pad is excellent, great value for money, plenty of padding and straps. It has a wide section for the top of the tailgate which fits the Nissan navara np300 wide tailgate lip perfectly.

Can't spell but can protect - Dert 2.0 Tailgate Pad

Whats not to like, it's got twice as much padding (the original one must have been thin), it is furry on one side and tough on the other. It straps the bikes in well and protects the tailgate all at a great price and free shipping. Get one, even if you don't have a ute, they are that good.

Padded but not 100%

This is a good tailpad, but has some issues:
-the Velcro straps are too long to secure a normal frame, my cube how fits ok but my konas not so much, you need a beefy bottom tube to get good purchase
- the securing straps are fraying where they were heat cut, no biggie but annoying
-positioned correctly to protect frames the cutout for the tailgate handle is too high for a ford ranger, the cutout could be made 200mm longer to solve this
Other than that the pad does what you need, allows quick racking for short hops and protects both bike and Ute.

Good, not great

Bikes sit securely, and when positioned per instructions there is heaps of cushy frame padding, the trouble is in that position I can't access my Ute tailgate handle (ranger).
Could benefit from a lock point as well to allow for anti-theft protection.
