Dakine Prodigy Youth Gloves
Who's this for: The younger riders in your life. The Prodigy is durable enough for shuttle laps and breathable enough for big adventures.
Palm style: The synthetic suede palms provide durability and enhance grip for a confident bar feel.
Materials: The Prodigy's construction is a moisture wicking, 4-way stretch airmesh shell mated to a synthetic suede palm. The Polygiene odour control technology helps the gloves stay fresher smelling a bit longer.
Additional protection: Nope.
Closure: With Dakine's own Big Mouth adjustable hook and loop tab the gloves are easier to slip on and off. This closure system runs higher up on the back of the hand for maximum ease of install and removal.
Touch screen compatible: Yup. No need to remove your gloves to play Angry Birds or fiddle with your phone/GoPro.
Sweat wipe: There sure is. Dakine calls it a microfleece nose wipe, but it will work for sweat too.
Pros? Like putting on wet socks, helping your little-one(s) put on their gloves can be quite a battle. The Big Mouth closure system makes this task MUCH easier, which means less frowns and frustrations before trail time.
Cons? No real notable cons here. The lack of additional protection could be viewed as a con, but that is a preference thing.
