Description
The CushCore Bead Dropper takes the effectiveness of a tyre lever to a whole new level and will help you to install and remove tyres setup with Cushcore inserts with ease. Standard tyre levers can often be pretty flimsy and aren't strong enough to work with DH casings or wheels setup with tyre inserts. The Bead Dropper tyre tool significantly helps in removal and installation of CushCore tyre inserts and will make your life a whole lot easier, especially with the critical step of dropping the bead into the rim channel to create enough slack to remove stubborn tyres.Who's this item for: This product has been designed to make the installation and removal of Cushcore inserts much easier, but anyone working with stubborn tyres will love the effectiveness of the strong lever and ergonomic handle.
Materials: Sturdy, durable plastic lever with an ergonomic rubberised handle.
Tyre lever dimensions: It's a similar length to a DH tyre lever but it's not designed to use brute force to pop the bead off using leverage alone. The unique thumb flange on the handle gives you a strong enough grip to work your way around the tyre and press the bead into the recess of the rim bed to give you enough slack to easily remove the tyre.
Single or pair: This is a single tyre lever designed purely for installing and removing super-stubborn MTB tyres and tubeless inserts.
Pros: Strong lever and rubberised grip with a solid flange to make dropping those beads a breeze. Wont scratch your rims.
Cons: This is just a single lever so it might take a couple of goes to work out the right technique of you're used to using multiple levers to remove stubborn tyres.
