From the Manufacturer

Crankbrothers is more than known for their quality and high standards, The Synthesis DH rim is no exception. Optimised to exceed limits this is the rim build and designed to take riders the full run. Synthesis,  created in a collaboration between two of the fathers of Carbon rims blending carbon layers to create a more snappy feel and in-depth riding experience. Crankbrothers have created a Rim seeming unbreakable, and yet lightweight enough for the race scene, this is the new standard.
