Tired of unforeseen seat post service? Check out the Revive dropper from BikeYoke.

If you've ever experienced a failing dropper post, you know exactly how frustrating it can be. Not only could it ruin your ride, but you may also have to go without your bike while it's in for service. BikeYoke went against the 'norm' when they designed the Revive dropper post. Available in the common sizes and drop options, it was designed purely with reliability and performance in mind.

The key to the Revive's success is the NON-IFP (internal floating piston) design. Standard IFP droppers rely on seals to perform 100% of the time. As you may have experienced, that's not always the case. Once these seals leak, the dropper may begin to sag. By eliminating the IFP, the Revive eliminates all these potential failures.

While the post does use internal seals (less than other posts) air can sometimes escape to places it shouldn't be. Enter the revolutionary 'Revive-Valve'. This simple valve is actuated by turning the integrated mini lever, (or a 4mm Allen key) a quarter turn and compressing your post. Easy as that! Your post will now function like new.

If you want dependable performance without worrying about failures, this is the post for you. Simple, reliable and available in a wide variety of sizes.

These are V2 models which have the following updates from the original design:

  • One-piece 3D-forged upper tube unit for improved stiffness and strength.
  • Fully hard-anodised pin seats in the upper tube for improved corrosion resistance.
  • CNC-finished actuation lever for even smoother engagement.
  • New upper saddle clamp and saddle bolts with integrated conical washers for even simpler saddle installation.

Features:

  • NON-IFP design.
  • 30.9, 31.6 and 34.9 post diameters.
  • Revive Valve: all posts come shipped with the Revive Quick Reset Lever.
  • Internal routing.
  • Cable actuated.

Available in the following sizes and drop options:

Post Diameter: 30.9, 31.6, 34.9

Drop:

  • 125mm
  • 160mm

Dropper

Little bit confusing that you have to buy the remote and a specific mount all separately, but I’m a complete novice.
Easy enough to install 👍🏼

It just works!

I've had one of these on my current bike for 3 years, it hasn't missed a beat. It just works. When I was building my new rig there was no question on which dropper I was going to buy. Smooth action and easy to install.

This thing is mint !

Love it. Had it a couple of months now and it is the best feeling post I've had. Super smooth and nice fast return speed. Only had to use teh revive function once, straight out of the box. Really easy to do and worked great.
I'm already looking at getting another one for my other bike. Not the cheapest post on tehmarket, but well worth it in my opinion.

This dropper is no Yoke!

Purchased after glowing online review, but more importantly, some solid reviews from friends that have had the series 1 version for well over a year of solid riding. Only a few months in but very happy with build and operation.
One thing that some folks may not like would be using torx instead of Allen for the 2 saddle bolts but that is splitting hairs.

Rivive the revolution!

46 years riding bikes and now the world has changed. From a steel seatpost clamp that needed 2 6" shifters to undo to a lever on the bars ......... brilliant!!!!
Ordered Thursday, arrived Monday, installed Monday works perfectly. Great lever and action, minimum play in the post it's a revolution.

Best dropper on the market!

I purchased the Bikeyoke 30.9 160mm to fit my Medium Frame Surly Karate Monkey and it’s an absolute winner! Best dropper I’ve used by far and super happy a friend convinced me the few extra dollars would be worth the investment. Setup was super easy (paired with a very nice Wolf Tooth 1x Remote Lever) and the post action is silky smooth and leagues ahead of the KS Lev Integra that I have been using on my other bike (i’ll probably swap that out too once it dies...). Reset function is a game changer, and means I should never have to deal with any squish or pay to swap out internal cartridges. The Monkey is now a downhill shredder and I’m hoping to get many years from the Revive post. Time will tell, hopefully the reliability lives up to all reports. Could probably have snuck a 185 into the frame but didn’t want to be sitting on the back tyre. Buy this post!
