Must have multi tool

Only recently bought this multi tool, however it got used the very first time we took it out for a ride. Perfect fit and very easy to use. Highly recommend if you are looking for a great tool to take on every ride without having to carry extra weight. Very handy and user friendly.

Holds very solidly in SRAM GX Eagle cranks...even after and end over end stack! (magnets hold SRAM GX 1400 cranks a little less and Shimano SLX a little less again ...but never lost it in either)

Not having such a hard piece of metal in your back pack reduces your chances of being hurt (see above) and also less weight on your shoulders, as mentioned the weight being centred/low on the bike has nil effect on handling and pedalling ability.

Quality piece of kit that I've used a few times while out n about...before I might have soldiered on and waited till i was in the shed to fix said issues.

Quality tool but at a premium price

This tool is very solid to date and this fact you can buy an replacement bits from any hardware or tool shop is a definite bonus. With this tool I now only need to carry a chain breaker and tyre leaver and I'm sorted. I have used many multi tools over the years and I would have to say this would have to be one of the best to date I had to buy mine directly from Italy so being able to source it locally is a bonus.

Great quality tool, just lost it after 3rd ride!! Have the SRAM X1 1000, 32T on my 2015 Reign, was a good tight fit. If you have a large shoe size, US11 and you have any rub marks on your crank arm, do not get this! Some cranks have the centre sunk in away from the main crank surface, this could be O.K. MTB Direct did offer me $20 off another one.
