Tried and crash tested. Bit of a brute.

Direct replacement for another that is kaput after a mega crash, saw me in the back of an ambulance and off the bike for 9 months. The helmet took a direct hit by the Earth at high speed. Im still here and suffered no concussion hence why I bought a direct replacement. It is a hot helmet for summer and breathability is not great. It is good for chilly or wet days when on the shuttles. The internals can be removed for washing when you accumulate that dank stank. The strap clip is useable with gloves. Fits goggles well and the recess in the back keeps your strap in place. Heavy thing, and blocks a lot of sound, but also doesnt produce wind noise. If you want something with gizmos, is cool and well ventilated or lightweight, look elsewhere and pay the xtra $... If you dont care or are upping your game when it comes to drops and gaps and want that protection, or you mostly shuttle, this thing is a unit! You can uphill in it, just get good!

This helmet is super light weight and very strong. The helmet saved my face from being very badly injured as have had an accident where I come off and broke bones in both my hands and although my helmet broke it literally saved my life.

Good looking helmet and accurate to its description.

Purchased for my 6 year old son. He loves it and it is accurate to sizes. Fits really well and not too heavy for his petite body. Value for money was great too.

Crash tested and I am still here!

Looking to find another of these. I had one and after a big accident where my head was the first thing to hit the ground, I thought it best to replace it. The shell never broke on the rocks and i never lost consciousness. I would therefore put my life back in the hands of 661. Liner is washable but the chin pads are not. I rinsed them after stripping the helmet and left to dry. Very hot with little airflow but good peak positioning and good proportions. No wind noise but also a little too muffled if you are trying to chat on a liason. Used it for trail enduro and dh. Despite being hot, just as well i had it on a seemingly docile trail ride!

Good quality helmet for the price. Not something I'd want to wear all the time if you ride DH a lot. I'd spend more money on a helmet with better internal padding that is removable and washable. It breathes well enough for a full day of shuttles on a 28degree day without any discomfort. For someone who just needs a full face for occasional use at bike parks or alpine visits a few times a year I would highly recommend. I have not crashed in this helmet, cannot comment on durability.
